The factual accuracy of this chemical structure is disputed[edit]

@Wickey-nl: Please elaborate Last hydrogens may not be implicit here. --Leyo 09:27, 22 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think there is an issue with this file, so I have removed the tag. If the nominator still sees a problem, Commons:Deletion requests should be used to start a discussion. Edgar181 (talk) 15:31, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Do we prefer the IUPAC-rules here? The whole world is drawing the hydrogens. Especially the last hydrogens should not be implicit here. http://www.iupac.org/publications/pac/2006/pdf/7810x1897.pdf

IUPAC guidelines tend to be preferred, but we don't delete images solely because they do not meet them. Edgar181 (talk) 14:17, 28 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I can agree with that, but this image is wrong any way. A warning is appropiate. Displaying all hydrogens except the last ones means the last ones are not there.--Wickey-nl (talk) 11:23, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • I agree on Wickey-nl. It is a little bit inconsquent showing all but not the hydrogens of C6. This could confuse someone and is covered by all other pics in the category glucose. I could upload a new version of that picture showing "CH2OH" at C6. This should settle this disupte! Cheers, --Yikrazuul (talk) 17:35, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That's fine with me. Edgar181 (talk) 20:05, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
