All caps title for the file name?[edit]

@GPinkerton: Just a note, the additional "cum minoribus adjacentibus" and the "et" are in lower case in the original. And "INSULÆ" uses an "Æ" (also used in other cases in Category:Blaeu Atlas of Scotland 1654). So maybe File:Blaeu - Atlas of Scotland 1654 - INSULÆ ALBION et HIBERNIA cum minoribus adjacentibus - British Isles.jpg? Best, --Marsupium (talk) 12:17, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Marsupium: I didn't look too closely at the other images in the same category, but I put in all caps because it seemed as though all the maps from this atlas were titled that way. I would change them all to normal case for readability, though I would drop the ligature in the file name for ease of use. I'm mostly concerned with the "Old Great Britain" in the present name: the "old" is unnecessary, and the "Great Britain" is bad because of the inclusion of the other British Isles. GPinkerton (talk) 12:35, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
But yes, for harmony with the other files in the category at present, the ligature should be included. GPinkerton (talk) 12:36, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@GPinkerton: Okay, so File:Blaeu - Atlas of Scotland 1654 - Insulæ Albion et Hibernia cum minoribus adjacentibus - British Isles.jpg? --Marsupium (talk) 12:39, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That would work, but then it would differ from the all-caps other files, in which case the harmony that requires the ligature is no longer arrived at and the ligature becomes unnecessary ... It doesn't really matter so much to me! GPinkerton (talk) 13:17, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
So if you don't object I'd go with the first proposed File:Blaeu - Atlas of Scotland 1654 - INSULÆ ALBION et HIBERNIA cum minoribus adjacentibus - British Isles.jpg as a compromise … --Marsupium (talk) 13:27, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Marsupium: No objections to that, thanks for querying my original request! GPinkerton (talk) 15:47, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
