Summary[edit]
DescriptionZig Zag Road from the 'old road' - geograph.org.uk - 647157.jpg |
English: Zig Zag Road from the 'old road' Zig Zag Road is the approach to Box Hill from Mickleham and the A24. The first part of Zig Zag Road is a public road, but at the first hairpin bend, seen just beyond the posts here, the road becomes privately maintained by the National Trust as far as Box Hill village (it's closed on one day a year). The old public road continues straight on, towards the photographer, along the valley floor, before climbing steadily and crossing over Zig Zag Road further up. |
