English: Wrexham Central 1st railway station (site) Opened in 1887 by the Wrexham, Mold & Connah's Quay Railway and later extended to Ellesmere, this station closed in 1998 when it was replaced by a small modern terminus just behind the photographer. There is precious little left of the original. View south east. |
