Armondo Sabrano, of El Paso, Texas, received the Legion of Honor from French Consul General Frederic Bontems, Aug. 24, 2012. The awards were given at the Home of the 82nd Airborne Association, Benavidez-Patterson chapter in El Paso, Texas. The awards were given in recognition for their part in the liberation of Paris, France from German control, Aug. 24-25, 1944. |
