Summary[edit]
| Description |
English: Windthrow, Beecraigs. This square is mostly forest that is managed as a country park, the trees are probably allowed to grow longer than in a purely commercial forest for recreational reasons. This gives the wind more of a chance of getting in and doing damage. Beecraigs is used for orienteering, which can be unfortunate as it is one of the few Scottish forests with heavy bramble growth. Great news for wildlife, lots of impenetrable jungle. |
