Description
Deutsch: Portz, Landkreis Trier-Saarburg, Sandsteinpostament, gusseisernes Kreuz, um 1860

An der Abzweigung des Weges nach Merzkirchen von der Kreisstraße 121. Gußeisernes Kruzifix auf zweiteiligem Sandsteinsockel. Der dachörmig zulaufende Unterbau ist als Inschrifttafel in neugotischer Blende gearbeitet, die Inschrift lautet: „O MARIA Sei gegrüßt Du meine ewige Hoffnung“.

Darauf der Keuzsockel, ein geschlossener Nischenaufsatz mit dem Relief eines flammenden Herzens. Das um 1860 errichtete Kreuz steht am Weg zur Pfarrkirche.
