Description
Español: Panel informativo junto a los restos de una antigua noria de agua en el jardín botánico La Concepción, Málaga. España. El texto dice: «Fueron los árabes quienes introdujeron el uso de la noria para el riego en España. En este caso se trata de una noria accionada por tracción animal, conocida como «de sangre», la cual eleva el agua desde pozos poco profundos. Un animal de tiro empujaba una rueda que a su vez movía un mecanismo que hacía salir el agua. En la Concepción existían varias norias como ésta para el riego de los cultivos de limones y la huerta. Esta es la única que queda, fue restaurada por la Escuela Taller y dedicada a quien lo hizo, Antonio Espinosa, tras su fallecimiento en 2011».
