Summary[edit]

Description
English: Metal Eyes —the band (Jackson Durham and Van Tingley) performing on April 16, 2014 at the ICA Philadelphia for the 50th Anniversary of the contemporary art institution. Conceptual artist Mary Ellen Carroll in collaboration with Billy Dufala and Revolution Recovery for Made in Philadelphia was a commission by the ICA. The genre of Waste Music was born out of the Waste Music Festival of Metal, informally known as Shredfest that took place on April 6, 2014.
