English: Ces soldats de la 3rd Canadian Infantry Division débarquent sur la plage de JUNO Area, NAN WHITE Beach à marée basse le 6 juin après midi.

En arrière-plan, on aperçoit la fameuse villa « L’Étrille » et « Les Goélands » de Bernières-sur-Mer. Cette photo est présentée " à l'envers ", quand vous êtes sur la plage le clocher de l'église de Bernières sur Mer est à droite de la villa. voir ici la photo à l'endroit: www.flickr.com/photos/mlq/1427698305/in/pool-autresphotos... Le bâtiment échoué est un LCT Mk 3 n°474 de la 11th LCT Flotilla du N Squadron de la force J2, vue de la poupe. voir la p004593 pratiquement la même vue.
