Description
English: Trois soldats canadiens examinent des canons allemands capturés dans les galeries de la carrière des Aucrais à Haut-Mesnil ou les allemands ont stocké du matériel, dont une maquette de V2 à l'échelle 1 avec un chariot de transport du missile.

A droite, canon AT Ex-russe 7.62cm FK39 (dénomination allemande) canon Divisional Gun M1939 76.2mm A gauche, un AT 7.5cm Pak 40 Puis derrière un 122mm Howitzer M1942 Ex-Russe Encore derrière un canon AT Ex-russe 7.62cm FK39 Tout au fond deux GW Lr S für 15cm SFH13 f (chenillette Lorraine modifiée pour recevoir un 150mm allemand) SdKfz 135/1. Plusieurs camions en arrière plan dont un à gauche, un Chevrolet Model C60X muni d'une chèvre. Le soldat au premier plan porte le patch RCOC (Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps ) de la 1st Canadian Army. Il s'agirait de matériel de la 89 ID du général Conrad Heinrichs venue de Norvège et arrivée au sud de Caen début août pour relever les Panzer Divisionen. Ce hameau a été libéré le 8 août, dans le cadre de " Operation Totalize " par The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada-Princess Louise's de la 10th Inf. Brigade de la 4th Canadian Armoured Div.
