Description

WIPO Director General Daren Tang (left) and Mr. Li Baodong, Secretary General of Boao Forum for Asia, signed a memorandum of understanding on March 28, 2024 outlining areas of future cooperation.

Mr. Ban Ki-moon (second row, second from right), former UN Secretary General and currently Chair of the BAF, witnessed the signing of the agreement as did WIPO Deputy Director General Binying Wang (second row, left), WIPO Assistant Director General Edward Kwakwa (second row, right) and Mr. Danilo Türk (second row, second from left), former President of Slovenia, President of Club de Madrid, BFA Board Member.

The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the 2024 Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference.

Mr. Tang was on an official visit to the Greater Bay Area in <a href="https://www.wipo.int/directory/en/details.jsp?country_code=CN" rel="noreferrer nofollow">China</a> from March 25-29, 2024.
