| Description |
English: On July 18, 2022, WIPO Director General Daren Tang (center back) met with delegates from Israel and Morocco for the purpose of signing a memorandum of understanding on intellectual property to boost innovation and strengthen entrepreneurial relations between innovators in both countries.
The agreement – the first of its kind – was signed by Adv. Ofir Alon (left), Executive Director, Israel Patent Office (Ministry of Justice), and Mr. Abdelaziz Babqiqi (right), Director General, Moroccan Office of Industrial and Commercial Property (OMPIC), in the presence of Ambassador Meirav Eilon Shahar, Permanent Representative of Israel to the United Nations in Geneva (left, back) and Ambassador Omar Zniber (right, back), Permanent Representative of Morocco to the United Nations in Geneva.
