Description
Français : La libération est la première étape de la procédure de secours (PDS). Elle consiste à désolidariser les élévateurs de la voile principale du sac-harnais via le système trois anneaux (voir l'article sur Wikipédia).

A gauche en orange, la voile principale qui a été libérée. En blanc la voile de secours, toujours attachée au sac harnais qui est en noir.

Le sac blanc qui dépasse de la voile principale est l'extracteur de la voile principale qui permet d'ouvrir cette dernière. On le tire à la main. D'où son nom : hand-deploy.
