Description

Rep. Vincent Morrison Brennan, Republican of Michigan, listening in on the proceedings of the US House of Representatives with a radio receiving set, in 1922. Radio broacasting (of sound) was a new technology that had only been in existence for about 5 years. Brennan advocated radio broadcast of Congress, but failed to get support to allow it at the time.
