Artificial steam fog created in an educational laboratory (Aachen, Germany)

Description	Deutsch: Eine Infrarotlampe mit 150 Watt Heizleistung strahlt aus etwa 8 cm Entfernung auf ein 4 mm dickes quadratisches Stück Filz mit einer Kantenlänge von 10 cm. Der Filz besteht ganz aus Polyester und war vollständig mit Wasser getränkt. Das in der Bildmitte sichtbare Thermometer zeigte eine Temperatur von etwa 70 °C an. Nur wenige Zehnersekunden nach dem Einschalten der Infrarot-Lampe stieg gut sichtbar Nebel von dem Filzstück auf. Für eine bessere Sichtbarkeit wurde der Nebel mt einer starken Fahrradlampe von hinten angestrahlt. Die richtige Position der Lampe spielt eine wichtige Rolle. Das Bild entstand in der Mathe-AC Lernwerkstatt in Aachen. Das Experiment stellt Verdunstungsnebel als Naturphänomen nach.
