Description
Español: "Cuando don Pedro de Valdivia volvió, no encontró de su naciente ciudad sino ruinas todavía humeantes. Su situación era por demás angustiosa, sin casas donde guarecerse, sin provisiones, pues todo había sido saqueado, y con los enemigos al frente, en abierta rebelión. Pero el corazón del gran capitán no se acobardó por eso e inmediatamente dió las ordenes necesarias para reedificar la ciudad."
