| Description | Senator Bernard Sanders (I-Vermont) (right), Chairman of the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee, and Dr. Robert A. Petzel, Under Secretary for Health, talk live with Dr. Lanier Summerall, Chief of Mental Health Services at VA’s White River Junction Medical Center. White River Junction uses telemental health appointments to provide care to Veterans in their own homes. By receiving care from the comfort of their homes, Veterans are able to improve their health outcomes and eliminate the fear of being stigmatized for receiving mental health treatments. |
