Named after rally race driver <a href="http://www.raceretro.co.uk/showcontent.asp?CollectionID=@0000000193" rel="nofollow"> Michèle Mouton</a>, the new fully autonomous car from Audi. With <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sebastian_Thrun" rel="nofollow">Sebastian Thrun</a> today, the Professor who has spearheaded the autonomous robocar initiative at Stanford, just after they unveiled this beauty. They showed video of her doing four wheel drifts in the desert… and laying Audi-logo donuts in the desert playa… with computer-driven precision…. and nobody inside… Next year they hope to rally race her up Pikes Peak. |
