Description
English: Room near the safe deposit vault in the basement of the University National Bank building, northeast corner of NE 45th Street and University Way NE, Seattle, Washington. This room was historically used to allow a customer a private space to view the content of their safe deposit box; there were six other similar rooms. This is one of the few spaces that will almost certainly be radically and permanently altered in the planned conversion of the building to a bouldering gym: it will become part of a large restroom area. This picture is taken relatively late in a major renovation process. The building is being turned into a bouldering gym, while retaining most of its historic architectural elements.
