Description

A Unicentro, un centro comercial muy importante en Bogotá, lo construyeron y terminaron por inaugurarle el dia 28 de abril de 1976.

Recuerdo entonces, que salia con papá y mamá, cuando uno tendría algo asi como 10 o 12 años, sobre el 85' o el 86', y siempre se encontraba con alguien: un amigo del colegio, un vecino, un familiar... y con un Unicentro en obras.

"¡Es que lo están dejando más bonito y le van a poner mas locales! - por eso está en obra..." decían mis padres casi al unísono. Ya se sabe, por aquello de 'no romperle la ilusión al niño'... Con eso y un helado, 'un cono' en la planta de abajo, se era feliz por una tarde.

Y ya vino mi hora de emancipar, años mas tarde, a mis 25 años, para no volver a ver a Unicentro hasta pasados otros 10 años más.....

¿Y qué me encuentro? Pues el Unicentro de siempre, el único. Con sus locales, algunos iguales, y otros con un cambio sutil de nombre (por no decir lobo)... Pero siempre en obras...

Sin embargo sigue conservando el poder de transformar una tarde cualquiera en Bogotá, en una tarde con algo de ilusión.
