Uncle Wiggily and the Pussy Cat Mole from the children's book Uncle Wiggily and Mother Goose

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Uncle Wiggily mends the Pussy Cat Mole's dress. The Pussy Cat Mole's original tale from mother goose is:

"Pussy Cat Mole jumped over a coal, and in her best petticoat burned a great hole. But the hole it was mended, and my story is ended."

And in this story, Uncle Wiggily is the one who helps her mend the dress using extra cloth that was being used to make a new dress for Nurse Jane, which Uncle Wiggily had happened to be delivering that day.
