Description

Original caption from DoD:Two US Navy (USN) F-14D Tomcat aircraft armed with GBU-12 500-pound bombs, fly in formation over skies of Iraq on a combat sortie in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM.
As noted from image: US Navy F-14 Tomcat 201 and 202 from USS George Washington. 201 flown by CMDR "Scooter" Moyer with RIO CMDR "Wedge" Black apparently the Commanding officer and Executive officer of the wing or unit.

Note (20120211): The DoD caption incorrectly identifies the aircraft as F-14Ds. These are F-14Bs from VF-11.
