English: JAKARTA, Indonesia (Feb. 20, 2008) Indonesian navy Rear Adm. Willem Rampangilei, chief hydrographer of Indonesia's Jawatan Hidro-Oseanografi, or JANHIDROS, and U.S. Navy Capt. John Cousins, commanding officer of the U.S. Naval Oceanographic Office, based at Stennis Space Center, Miss., hold a joint press conference with more than 60 local and national media aboard the Military Sealift Command oceanographic survey ship USNS Mary Sears (T-AGS 65). Mary Sears is visiting Indonesian waters for the first time since the ship helped to locate an Indonesian commercial airliner, which crashed under mysterious circumstances last year. Mary Sears' embarked scientific staff from the Naval Oceanographic Office was able to locate the plane's flight recorder, or "black box," as well as the wreckage in waters more than 2,000 meters deep.
