Description
English: Annapolis, Md. (May 26, 2006) - A newly commissioned Marine Corps 2nd Lieutenant shows off his diploma. Vice President Dick Cheney delivered the commencement address to nine hundred-eighty Midshipmen who will be commissioned as Navy Ensigns or Marine Corps Second Lieutenants, at the U.S. Naval Academy's 2006 Graduation and Commissioning Ceremony. The Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) Adm. Mike Mullen and Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corp Gen. Robert Magnus administered the Oath of Office at the 156th traditional graduation ceremony.
