Description
English: Persian Gulf (Jan. 2, 2005) – A plane captain wipes down the windscreen of an F/A-18A+ Hornet, assigned to the ”Silver Eagles” of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron One One Five (VMFA-115), as Commander, Carrier Air Wing Three (CVW-3), Capt. Patrick Reiney gets ready to launch off the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75). CVW-3 embarked aboard Truman is providing close air support and conducting intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions over Iraq.
