(Dec. 29, 2004) - Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV), Gordon England, views San Francisco Bay and the surrounding area from the vantage point of The Lone Sailor Memorial at Vista Point Outlook. This location on the northern end of the Golden Gate Bridge offers scenic views of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge and historic Alcatraz prison. The 7-foot tall and 800 pound bronze-statue stands, with his seabag, facing the bridge.
