Description
English: Washington, D.C. (Sep. 16, 2004) - Newly selected Chief Petty Officer (CPO) Corey Sylvie receives his first set of anchors as two of his family members pin the collar devices on during a traditional Navy pinning ceremony at the Pentagon. Sylvie, is one of many to receive this honor after a month long initiation process of training and character building. The Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV), Honorable Gordon England and Chief of Naval Operations (CNO), Adm. Vern Clark, were seated on stage for the annual Navy traditional ceremony.
