Description
English: At sea aboard USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63) Mar. 24, 2002 -- Interior Communications Electrician 3rd Class Christopher Stough from St. Louis, MO, stands watch at the Integrated Launch and Recovery Television System (ILARTS). Petty Officer Stough is responsible for monitoring six of fourteen cameras covering the flight deck that make up ILARTS. Kitty Hawk is conducting work-ups in preparation for an upcoming extended underway period and is the Navy's only permanently forward-deployed aircraft carrier, operating out of Yokosuka, Japan.
