English: Outgoing Army Secretary Pete Geren presents Paul and Janet Monti with a plaque honoring their son Sgt. 1st Class Jared Monti, during Monti’s induction into the Pentagon’s Hall of Heroes. He was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for sacrificing his life for another Soldier in Afghanistan.
