English: AR RAMADI, Iraq (June 7, 2005) - Staff Sgt. Daniel Santiago, the platoon sergeant for 1st Platoon, Company A, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, keeps a vigilant watch down a street during a mission in the city here. Company A Marines searched several buildings on a mile-long stretch of road that bisects the city's marketplace during "Operation Weatherford III." Two squads of Iraqi Security Forces assisted the Marines during the three-hour mission, which was aimed at finding sniper positions, weapons caches, improvised explosive device making material and suspicious individuals.
