Description
English: Tulul adh-Dhahab (Jordan): Archaeological excavation of the TU Dortmund led by Prof. Dr. Th. Pola on the uppermost plateau of the western hill. Final photographic documentation of the trenches on the last day of the 2008 excavation campaign. At the bottom a trench from 2006/07. North is at the left, the size of the squares is 3,6 x 3,6 m. Picture taken by kite aerial photography. Exposed are several walls of late antique buildings.
Deutsch: Tulul adh-Dhahab (Jordanien): Archäologische Ausgrabung der TU Dortmund unter der Leitung von Prof. Dr. Th. Pola auf der obersten Terrasse des Westhügels. Abschließende Fotodokumentation der Grabungsschnitte am letzten Grabungstag der Kampagne 2008. Unten mittig zusätzlich ein Schnitt aus 2006/07. Norden ist links, die Größe der einzelnen Schnitte beträgt je 3,6 x 3,6 m. Fotografiert mittels Drachenluftbildfotografie (kite aerial photography, KAP). Freigelegt sind verschiedene Mauerzüge der spätantiken Bebauung.
