| Description |
English: TerraSAR-X monitors part of a 17-kilometre-long tailback on the A4 autobahn west of Dresden - 156 larger vehicles, especially lorries/trucks, were automatically detected and monitored. Actually gantry cameras measured twice as many such vehicles within this zone. The satellite monitoring will close this gap as its techniques improve.
Deutsch: TerraSAR-X Verkehrsmessung auf einem 17 Kilometer langen Teilstück der A4 westlich von Dresden, wo 156 größere Fahrzeuge automatisch detektiert und gemessen wurden. Referenzmessungen mit Kameras ergaben, dass die tatsächliche vorhandene Anzahl von LKWs auf diesem Streckenabschnitt etwa doppelt so hoch war. Weiter verbesserte Auswerteverfahren werden die Detektionsrate noch deutlich ansteigen lassen.
Polski: Radarowy monitoring ruchu samochodowego na 17-kilometrowym odcinku autostrady A4 na zachód od Drezna. Radar satelity TerraSAR-X zobrazował na tym zdjęciu 156 dużych pojazdów, np. ciężarówek. Rzeczywista ich ilość, odnotowana przez kamery zamontowane w ciągu autostrady, była około 2 razy większa. |
