Summary[edit]
English: Three non-functional ultrasound machines (or ultrasound system).
The ultrasound system is a diagnostic device that uses a medical imaging technique. ultrasound, to visualize all the soft tissues of the human body. This device is used in almost all medical fields allowing the physician to examine patients in a non-invasive and pain-free way. Ultrasound is emitted on the area to be examined by means of an ultrasound probe. When the ultrasound encounters a tissue, they are reflected and send back a signal or echo. Depending on the density of the tissue, the echo is of variable amplitude. This is translated by the device into a certain gray level visible on the created image. The apparatus can thus reconstruct a faithful image of the examined area, which is shown on the integrated screen. The results of the ultrasound can be printed and preserved.
