| Notes | Teddy and Jumbo belonged to sisters Fay and Tessa Mullett and lived with them at their St. Heliers home after coming to NZ from England in the early 1920s.Teddy and Jumbo 'had their own chair in the lounge with little animals tucked at their feet and always a crocheted blanket over the back of the chair. If it was cold the blanket was tucked around them and each night they were wrapped in the blanket and put down to sleep.' Neither sister married and the toys stayed with them, until bequeathed to the Museum by Fay Mullett in 1992. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
