Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Thomsonite
Locality: Highway 30 roadcut, Goble Creek, Goble, Columbia Co., Oregon, USA
Original description: This specimen in itself is 1cm. This is a very large specimen in comparison with the other Thomsonites collected. It is colored in from the elements of its' matrix. The boulder this material came from yeilded at least 20 flats of nice stilbite plates and once in a while a Thomsonite like the one your viewing. For the most part I layed on my side popping off plates under this 20,000 pound boulder with a 6 pound sledge and chisels. Work Hard and Be Persistent this is what you get.
