Deutsch: Der Schriftsteller Thomas Lehr beim Vorstellen seines Romans "September, Fata Morgana" über die Anschläge vom 11. September und den 2. Irak-Krieg vor einer Lesung. Die Lesung fand statt im Schwesternhaus seiner Heimat-Pfarrei St. Konrad in Speyer-Nord. Thomas Lehr besuchte in seiner Kinheit den von den dortigen Schwestern betriebenen Kindergarten und lieh sich später seine ersten Bücher von der kleinen aus zwei Schränken bestehenden Bibliothek aus, die von Schwester Jolanta betrieben wurde. Weil er soviel las, durfte nicht nur aus dem Schrank mit den Kinderbüchern, sondern auch - unter strenger Aufsicht der Schwester - als einziges Kind auch aus dem Schrank mit den Erwachsenenbüchern ausleihen. Jede Woche entlieh er zwei Bücher aus dem Kinderbuchschrank und drei aus dem Erwachsenenbuchschrank. |
