Summary[edit]

Description
English: Cooked thièré millet couscous with lalo (baobab powder) sifted (tamé) into serving platter to break up any remaining clumps. Note: there are two types of 'lalo' powder from the same baobab tree (Adansonia digitata). A green lalo is made from the dried green leaves; a second type of lalo powder is made from the dried sap of the baobab, and is slightly pink and a darker pink when wet. This recipe shown used the lalo made from the baobab sap. It is easy to tell which lalo powder was used in the couscous by whether it has a shade of green or not.
