Lewis, left Sydney in search of the unfortunate survivors of the Charles Eaton ; and at eight o'clock, June 19th, the weather being thick and heavy, the detached reefs on the north side of the entrance were seen bearing west-north-west, eight or ten miles. At nine o'clock, Murrays Island, from the mast-head, bore west by south,and at half past nine, the Isabella entered the Cumberlands A WHITE MAN DISCOVERED. 15 Passage, which was cleared at ten, and at eleven o'clock was anchored off the north side of Murrays Island, a mile distant, in nineteen fathoms, sand and coral.
