The platforms are 4ft. long, making the total length over the dashers 38 ft. 5 in. Thereare two truss rods under the body carried by castings on needlebeams. The trolley board extends the whole length of the roof.The end of the car is fitted with two drop sash and the inside sashis fitted with brass wire for summer use. On each post is a pushbutton for signaling the conductor. The gongs are used with theleft foot. The car is mounted on Eureka maximum traction trucks;the scats arc of spring cane; the inside finish, including sash anddoors, is of cherry, and the ceiling of decorated 3-ply birch veneer.The cross seats center aisle car has one advantage over open carswith cross seats without an aisle, which is that there is standingroom available without making it necessary for pass
