English: Title: The Winnah! Washington, D.C., March 1. Vice President Garner proclaims himself the winner of the impromptu oyster eating contest at the Capitol today in which members of the Senate participated. The bivalves were presented to the Senate by the New England Oyster Growers' Exchange through Senator Theodore F. Green, of Rhode Island. The Senators were asked to judge the relative merits of the oysters grown in Rhode Island compared to those raised in the nearby waters of the Chesapeake Bay, 3/1/38
