Description
English: The Norse god Odin on his horse Sleipnir, featured on the Tjängvide image stone in Vallhalla, Gotland, Sweden. It also can depict a killed warrior on his way to Vallhalla greeted by Valkyries with horn goblet in their hands. In Norse mythology, Sleipnir is an eight-legged horse and is described as the best of all horses. Picture stone dated around the 8th-9th century.
