Summary[edit]

Description
English: St Michael's parish church, Albert Road, Devonport, Devon, seen from the west while being demolished in 2007. The church was built in 1843 and badly damaged by air raids in 1941. It was restored and reopened in 1953 but the workmanship was reported to be unsatisfactory. The church was closed in April 2007 and it and the vicarage next door were demolished. In 2009 a smaller church was completed on the site of the vicarage and an apartment block was built on the site of the church.
