Description
Español: Panel informativo junto a la Alberca de los Claveles en el jardín botánico La Concepción, Málaga, España. En un panel informativo situado junto a la alberca dice lo siguiente: «Alberca de los Claveles. Este rincón del jardín fue construido por la familia Loring a finales de los años 50 del siglo XIX. La alberca, que surtía de agua a los cultivos de limones, tiene dos pérgolas en cada uno de sus extremos. Su nombre responde a las numerosas macetas de claveles que existían alrededor de la alberca, por las que en la Exposición de Floricultura de 1874 se premió al jardinero Jacinto Chamoussent con 10 reales, según se recoge en El Avisador Malagueño del 10 de junio. Era uno de los lugares habituales de reunión de la familia. Fue restaurada en 2009 por la Escuela Taller La Concepción».
