Description
English: The British Army Prior To the First World War

Motor Transport Section ASC at Curragh Camp. An offshoot of No. 77 Company formed at Chatham by Brevet-Major C. E. I. McNalty ASC, was the detachment at the Curragh under Captain T. M. Hutchinson ASC. Captain T. M. Hutchinson ASC afterwards became the Chief Inspector of mechanisation.

Up to 1905 there was little or no system obtaining, regarding the testing and training of recruits. Between 1905 and 1906 the training of recruits was put on a proper footing.
