Summary[edit]

Description After a day snorkelling tour, this little guy, the son of the long-tailed boat operator was tuckered out and fast asleep on the bow. In the Railey region of Thailand, the long-tailed boats are still a vital part of everyday life as fishing vessels, tour operators and transportation to a region that has no road access. They were our daily taxi from beach to beach. During the tsunami, nearly all were destroyed and have since been rebuilt.
