| Description |
There is a large digital clock on the side of the block above the tram. Not sure whether it was working at the time of the picture or whether I caught it between flashes with temperature. Tram no 943 leading , Route 1 Eckersbach to Hauptbahnhof. KT4D series trams, four axle articulated units. Here paired. The livery used on these trams nos 927-949 is now mainly white with a lot less red relief. In 2008 , the SVZ (Städtischen Verkehrsbetriebe Zwickau) handed over its operations to the Regionalverkehrsbetriebe Westsachsen GmbH (Rhenus Veniro-Gruppe). Zwickau has a 1000mm system. Originally there were 32 KT4Ds bought in the late 1980s but with exchange between Zwickau and Plauen, 24 remain. |
