Description
English: Tall body tapering toward top, three moldings at base, neck and strap handle. Stamped vertical relief panel repeating three times, each with three medallions and inscribed biblical scenes showing joseph (and Potiphar’s wife), Der Iosva, and David (spotting Bathsheba). Hinged pewter cover with lily-shaped thumb rest. Strapwork grotesques throughout.
