Description
English: Sword with curved scalloped blade, inscribed with the name of Mohammad Shah Qajar and verses from the Qur'an (Koran). Inlaid with gold. Guard of steel and gold, with tassel made of metal wrapped thread and amber coloured beads. Green velvet sheath with steel mounts. Produced between 1834-1848 in Iran.
