Summary[edit]
DescriptionSwiss Army - WEF Support Mission (5385123933).jpg |
During the World Economic Forum (WEF), mobile TAFLIR radar positions monitor the airspace around Davos. Soldiers have the opportunity to use the devices under real conditions. Accordingly, the positions are secured like in war and are guarded with live ammunition. This radar monitors the airspace from the Rhine Valley into the Prättigau Valley in direction to Davos on a mountain above Pfäfers. On this route many helicopters will fly from the Altenrhein airfield to Davos. Switzerland, Jan 23, 2011. |
